Dragon whelps are the smallest member of the dragonkin species, representing the offspring of a brood. Whelps are easily the weakest variation of dragons. In most cases however, where there are whelps, their larger cousins are close by. Extreme caution is advised if you are going to pet, hug, snuggle or feed a dragon whelp. Crimson whelps are the youngest of dragonkin species. They prefer to attack in groups and will flee combat if alone or clearly overwhelmed.
